TIFTON, Ga. — We hope everyone is staying warm during this cold, snowy winter for many. Even in the South, we’ve seen quite a few days of cold temperatures and even some snow.
We’re about three months away from the 2025 AKRA / Hoosier Kartsport National Road Racing Series opener set for May 16-18 at the North Carolina Center for Automotive Research (NCCAR). Following NCCAR, we’ll continue with our traditional schedule including Mid-Ohio in June, Nelson Ledges in July, Summit Point Main in August and Pitt Race in September.

We’re proud to continue our strong relationships with host clubs Dart Kart and Woodbridge (WKC) again in 2025! For those eager to get on the track before May, keep in mind that WKC opens their 2025 series April 11-13 at Summit Point’s 1.56-mile Jefferson Circuit. This is a track that karts have never run, and it should be a good one! (Friday practice is offered.)
We’d like to remind racers to renew their AKRA memberships for the 2025 season. If you’re planning on attending four of our five National events, you’ll qualify for year-end awards, however, you MUST BE A MEMBER to receive year-end awards. Awards are presented each June at Mid-Ohio. Count best 8 of 10 finishes. You must run a minimum of 7 races (finals) in a class to qualify and be a full AKRA member.
