AKRA wishes to welcome and thank Roy Hall of Turtle Racing for stepping up to support the AKRA / Hoosier Kartsport National Road Racing Series as a 2026 sponsor. Based in North Carolina, Turtle Racing attended the Mid-Ohio Nationals in June and the Summit Point Nationals in August, and expressed interest in supporting our efforts.

Roy began racing in 1982 while serving in the U.S. Navy. What started as a way to stay active soon became a lifelong passion. He began sprint racing at tracks throughout Virginia and North Carolina before transitioning to road racing, competing in B Stock, C Open, 250cc ROTAX, and 125cc Shifter classes.
Today, Roy competes as Turtle Racing Team in the 206 Heavy and Novice divisions. Turtle Racing also helps to field five other karts in their arrive-and-drive program as a way to help grow class entries and interest in road racing.
Roy is a proud sponsor of AKRA and strongly supports the organization’s efforts to grow and strengthen kart racing—especially the road-racing community.
