Membership and other UKC details:
Starting at Mid-Ohio, a valid AKRA membership is required at the next three events and a WKA membership will be required for the finale at Daytona.
For the Roebling event, the same rules and weights from last month’s Daytona KartWeek event will apply, unless specified in a later release. Be sure to check for updated rules and weights starting at Mid-Ohio. There will be small adjustments on rules likely, they will be posted around March 15, 2026 on multiple sites including akraracing.com.
The UKC Series will have a separate membership that is required by Mid-Ohio in June. The UKC membership will be available for purchase at akraracing.com and at Mid-Ohio at the AKRA trailer. The fee will be $35.00 and the membership revenue will be used toward the series’ year-end awards package.
There will be no additional entry fees for competing in the 10 UKC divisions, however, they will have their own year-end awards with points accumulated at each event. The series will comprise the best 7 of 10 finishes, and requires entry in 6 of 10 finales to be eligible for awards. Updated standings will be posted at akraracing.com after each event throughout the course of the season, so racers will know exactly where they stand headed into December’s finale at Daytona.
AKRA will be handling all points, year-end awards and UKC memberships to simplify the process.
2026 UKC Championship Awards will be presented at the 2027 Mid-Ohio event.
AKRA, WKA and the host clubs look forward to seeing you at the events and we hope you enjoy this new program and it helps grow road race karting.
