WAMPUM, PA – American Kart Racing Association (AKRA) Road Racing Series racers will wrap up their 2019 season September 27-30 at Pittsburgh International Race Complex in Wampum, PA.  According to AKRA President Bill McCutcheon, “Pre-race entries have exceeded last year’s total entries with three weeks left to enter.”

Along with being the final race for AKRA national racers, it will also be a Dart Kart Club, the event’s promoter, point race and a Woodbridge Kart Club (WKC) point race.  With three clubs competing together it should be an exciting weekend of racing.

Pre-registration forms and more information can be found on the Dart Kart Club website at: www.dartkartclub.com.

Two local attorneys came up with the idea to build the Pittsburg racing facility.  Along with support from local businesses and the attorney’s friends, ground was broken in 2001. It was first called BeaveRun Motorsports Complex. Then in 2011 new owners Jim and Kathy Scott changed the name.

The track features a smooth 1.8-mile road course; a 0.82-mile sprint kart track and a six-acre skidpad used ford river training and autocross.
